A marginal fee of R250.00 will be billed for delivery and handling of goods within a 10 km radius of our shop in Montague Gardens, Cape Town to your doorstep or to your place of work depending on your preferences. If you reside however in a rural part of the countryside an additional fee will be determined. Cycle Factory determines the delivery fee of online sales at the checkout process. Please make sure your billing and delivery details are accurate.
2. Average Delivery Turnaround Time
Depending on stock availability a delivery can take up to two weeks. If stock is available the delivery process is 2-6 working days from placing your order. Your location may affect the number of days it takes because of sending a courier out to unknown locations or locations that do not fall in their standard delivery ranges.

3. Late Deliveries
On the rare occasion our deliveries are late for a number of reasons. As per the Electronic Communication and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, you are entitled to cancel your purchase within 7 days if the delivery is not on time as indicated in the Cycle Factory terms and conditions. If you would like to return the products, they first need to be returned to Cycle Factory in their original packaging before we are able to do a refund.

4. Stock Shortages
Depending on demand, we sometime run of stock temporarily and have to place orders to have more of our amazing bikes on the shelf. If you place an order and the product is temporarily our of stock, Cycle Factory will immediately inform our customer that we need to order from the supplier, lengthening the delivery time. At this stage the customer may choose to wait for a longer period of time or decide to purchase another similar product recommended by our knowledgeable sales team. Cancellation of the order is also left up to the customer if they choose or order some place else.
5. Discontinued Products
Sometimes products are discontinued as new yearly upgrades or versions are made available. In a case where a customer purchases a redundant product, we give the customer one of two options. 1. Full re reimbursement 2. Option to buy the replacement product.
6. Non-defective products (your right to return)
If the products delivered are not the same as what you purchased online, you have the right to return the product in its original state and packaging. We will reprocess the order and send you the right items provided we have the wrong items sent back to us. The delivery process starts as soon as we have the items back.
If you are not happy with the items purchased for whatever plausible reason you may return the product within 7 working days of delivery. The item(s) need to be sent back in their original packaging. if we find the products have been used in any way we have the right to send them back and bill for the double delivery.
7. Returns of Clothing and Apparel
We do not offer a return policy on garments that have been worn unless there is a flaw in the design or stitching. Once the clothing leaves the shop it is entirely yours. Our sales consultants inspect all clothing before it leaves our premises to ensure a high quality. if we missed the quality control process and find that the item was indeed defective before it left the Cycle Factory Shop, our staff will then give you the option to swap it for another item that matches the original item purchased
8. Supplier’s Warranty:
Most of our bikes and parts have a supplier warranty. All warrantees are explained by our staff members upon purchase. All customers need to sign the warrantee to set the date from which the warrantee is run and expires.
9. Return Procedure
Call us on +27 21 552 8285 and we will determine if the product is returnable. If we find the item(s) qualify for a refund, we will send you the relevant information to send the item(s) back. Withing 7 working days of the return and inspection, we will do a complete refund via EFT of credit card at your convenience.
10. Processing of credits and refunds
Cycle Factory will pay the refund into the account originally stipulated in the customer billing address. Under no circumstances will we refund into any other accounts. the process take 7-10 working days to clear the return and credit the customer in full. We do not pay out in cash for any returns. All products on sale will be refunded with a sale price and not the normal retail price.
11. Fraud Prevention
Cycle Factory screens all credit card payments for possible fraud. This is done in the interests of the public and our business. In a case where fraudulent activities are found, Cycle Factory will hand the matter over to the authorities for investigation.
